Help Us Place Medical Aids Into The Hands of Aged & Disabled Fijians
After a visit by the members of Vedanta Charitable Foundation to Labasa and discussions with community members, we will partner with the Ramakrishna Mission Fiji to provide the following requested equipment and support:
ITEMS
. Provide multiple medical grade beds
. Provide multiple wheelchairs
. Provide multiple walking aid e.g., crutches and walkers
. Provide multiple other disability devices to help those aged and disabled community members to lead a more comfortable life.
INSTALLATION & ONGOING SUPPORT
– Transport to Labasa and distribution by Ramakrishna Mission to support the needy on the island of Vanua Levu, Fiji.
– Provide technical and clinical training for local engineers and healthcare staff who support the aged and disabled
– Provide clinical training where required
– Provide ongoing technical support to ensure the equipment’s longevity and its ongoing performance
VCF uses the support of its partners and Swire Shipping to transport the containers of precious equipment from Queensland, in Australia to Labasa, Fiji.
